FOR JOB APPLICANTS
Dear Candidate,
We would like to inform you that the “European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data” (hereinafter “GDPR”) establishes the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data as a fundamental right. Therefore, pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR, we provide you with the following information:
A. CATEGORIES OF DATA:
The processing may concern your personal data (such as identification data, personal details, contact information, education, professional experience, etc.) and any special categories of data included in your CV or communicated during the selection process.
B. DATA CONTROLLER:

C. SOURCE OF PERSONAL DATA:
The personal and/or special data held by the Controller is collected directly from the data subject and may, in some cases, come from third parties (publicly accessible websites and/or social networks and/or recruitment agencies). The Controller may also obtain personal data from interviews with the candidate’s previous employers.
D. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING:
The processing of your personal data is based on the execution of pre-contractual measures in the field of labor law (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and is carried out for the following purposes: recruitment, analysis, evaluation, and selection of personnel by employees and/or collaborators of the Controller.
The processing of any special categories of data included in the CV or communicated during the interview is based on the necessity to fulfill obligations and exercise specific rights of the Controller in the field of labor law (Art. 9.2.b GDPR), as clarified in the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Provision No. 146/2019.
E. DATA RECIPIENTS:
Within the limits relevant to the purposes, your data may be communicated, if necessary, to other parties involved in the processing activities, both internal and external to the Controller, such as employees and collaborators, public and private entities, freelancers, law firms, labor consultants, and technical partners. Your data will not be disseminated in any way.
F. TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES:
The collected data may be transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area, based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission or in the presence of appropriate safeguards, to fulfill the purposes mentioned above.
G. DATA RETENTION PERIOD:
The collected data will be retained for no longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is processed (“storage limitation principle”, Art. 5 GDPR) or as required by law. The relevance of stored data to the purposes for which it was collected is periodically reviewed.
H. DATA SUBJECT’S RIGHTS:
The data subject has the right to request access to their data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. The data subject may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
I. OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE DATA:
Providing your data for the above purposes is mandatory for the evaluation of your application. Therefore, failure to provide such data will make it impossible for the organization to proceed with the selection process.
J. METHODS OF DATA PROCESSING:
The personal and any special categories of data you provide will be subject to processing operations in compliance with the aforementioned regulations and the confidentiality obligations that guide the Controller’s activities. The data will be processed using IT tools, paper-based media, or any other suitable means (e.g., cloud systems, digital archiving and storage systems, etc.), in accordance with appropriate technical and organizational security measures as required by the GDPR.
